how important is it for ebay to maintain a recogonizable interface? Does ebay favor maintaining its current user interface and user experience above innovation that may change the way people use the site?

I have heard of ebay customers purchasing something from a seller, giving the seller their money, then receiving nothing (no product in the mail). In other words, the seller stole their money. What do you as a company do when something like this happens? How can you guarantee that something like this won’t happen to me if I want to buy something from someone I don’t know?

In terms of the amount of work done in your position, how stressful would you consider your career/job at eBay? Is this something that is related to the amount of work or the amount of responsibility attributed by the job?

How's the employee social group around ebay? One interesting example may include how google employees work on a different project, other than their own, every Friday. Does Ebay have any employee training quirks? How does it handle its employees?

Sara Supple- In your first lecture you talked a little bit about green computing and how major companies are now trying to implement ways of reducing their energy use, like Google and their new plant in the Dalles. Is eBay doing anything with green computing?

I heard that some people have had some problems with their ebay accounts being hacked into. What is ebay doing in order to prevent this from happening?

On ebay users have to pay to use their services. However on sites like craigslist users can interact with each other for free. I would assume because of this craigslist is gaining a lot of ebays market share. Is ebay concerned about this, and what are ebays plans to combat craigslist free user interaction?
